Today’s feature photo “At the Farm” was taken at my new barn that I board my horse Simon. TRL Farm aka Diamond Dressage is a small boarding facility in Bold Springs, GA. It specializes in Dressage training for horse and rider. I’m very pleased with Simon’s progress so far. He is becoming the Dressage pony extraordinaire. This cotton boll represents “Cotton the Fabric of Life”. I had the pleasure of being part of the 29th Bostwick Cotton Gin Festival November 3rd, 2018. I have attended this festival for more years than I can remember. I stopped by a cotton field on the way home to capture some shots before the cotton was all harvested. I had a wonderful time capturing “The Schmidt Show” for Jordan Mitchell and Kyle Schmidt. This wedding was amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever had the pleasure of documenting an event for two people that are a perfect match for each other. You could feel the love radiate off of these two. The older we get the more we long for the simple things in life.  While at WEG (World Equestrian Games) I got to ride the carousel. Boy did it bring back memories of my childhood. I had the pleasure of attending the second week of WEG (World Equestrian Games) at the Tryon Equestrian Center in Mill Creek, NC this past week with a girlfriend. We watched an amazing jump off between the USA and Switzerland for the Gold. The US team did not disappoint. Amazing athletes both human and equine.
